Miu walked through the town on the way to the lab. It was slightly deserted so the normally skittish morph felt abit comfortable walking around in the open. Her ears twisted each and every way a small noise would sound, a hand holding on to her furred arm nervously. But a tiny hand pulled on her shirt, her shiny reptilian companion, Blaine tried to reassured her that she shouldn't be afraid. The girl gave a small smile at the Scraggy, letting him crawl onto her back seeing as it was kinda having trouble keeping his pant's up. Once he was on board, she started off again. It didn't take long to get to the large building which was the lab. Walking up to the building, she gave the door a few knocks and waited, tail twitched nervously behind her. Blaine sat around her shoulders, his arms rested between her flatten ears. He would wait to see what partner he the feline would pick to travel with them.~

The day had seemed to drag on and on.. nothing exciting happened all day and it was too hot to do anything but lay on the couch and day-dream. That was Professor Kinkaze's philosophy on days like this. When the going gets rough, lay on the coach.
That morning, though, his two love-bird Pokémon had awoken him with a mysterious noise coming from them both. By the time he had gotten up and shook the sleep from his eyes, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. An egg just sat on the ground. It wasn't very large either, which confused him, since most eggs were kind of larger compared to this one. And this one had no remarkable characteristics about it..
Before he could marvel at this phenomenon that had happened in his lab, three knocks on the door scared the living hee-bee-gee-bees out of the Professor. He quickly stashed the egg under a blanket on the couch and sauntered over to the door.
He slowly opened the door to reveal a small feline-girl before him. He didn't have time to judge, nor would he, since he was a carefree guy.
<"Hello there! My name is Professor Kinkaze! I'm the professor around these parts."> he greeted the girl. <"I assume you're here for a starter Pokémon. There's a list over there on the wall."> he said, pointing to the wall where a sheet of laminated paper was pinned to the wall for viewing.
He slowly walked himself and the girl over to the wall so she could see the choices. He glanced down at the couch and the abnormal shape under the blanket. His head shot right back up, not trying to give away anything.

It didn't take long for someone to answer the door. They were greeted by a rather carefree man, who happily introduced himself before guiding her over to the list of starters. When she was touched suddenly, she tensed up, her short fur felt prickly doing so, but that feeling slowly went down as she talked. "Um, n-nice to meet you Professor. I'm Miu and yes I-I'm here for a pokemon..." she managed to say as she looked down the list. "Will it be okay to s-see some Vanillite and perhaps a Spheal?" Blaine scanned the room before spying the messy covers that was hiding the egg, his OCD kicked in. While Miu and the professor was busy, Blaine hopped off her shoulder and went over to the oval shape that was under the messy blanket. The Scraggy shook his head as he pulled at the covers, revealing the large egg that the human was hiding. He wasn't paying attention to it was he began to fold the covers neatly in a square. He place it down on the ground before he gave a small sigh, plopping himself on ground beside the egg.~

The girl wanted to see some Vanillite and a Spheal. May as well get out a couple of each so that she won't have little to choose from!
The professor skipped over to the shining screen in the corner, patted the touch-screen a few times, and 4 Poke Balls popped into the air and opened themselves. The room was a bright neon red for a few moments, then the ground was filled with little Pokemon.

As the Pokemon pops out of the Poke Ball, it closes it's eyes and looks to be stretching it's little ice cream cone body. Once done, it hovers over to the cat-girl and snuggles up to her.

Once the Pokemon forms from the red light on the ground, the Pokemon just lays back and watches the other Pokemon hoard around the cat-girl. Space is always a good thing to have..

[Moody Personality]
As the Pokemon rolls out of it's Poke Ball over to the cat-girl, it puts on a happy face and snuggles the girl's foot. Then, within a few minutes of cuddling, it's face becomes downcast and bites down on the foot.

[Arrogant Personality]
Once the Pokemon is out of the ball, it just rolls around the lab, showing off it's shiny coat of fur that the other Spheal didn't have. As it slowed down to a stop, it just sat there and looked at the girl. Once it had enough, it just rolled away, not very impressed with the Trainer.

<"So.. Which will you choose?"> he asked the cat-girl. It definitely was a lot to take in at once, but..

The first Vanillite was the friendliest one out of the bunch. She gave a small purr as the pokemon snuggle up to her. But it turn to a small yowl as the Spheal bit on her foot. She jerk her foot back from it, not wanting to kick the round seal away. Well the seal was off the list and as well as the other one and that other Vanillite. They didn't try to interact with her. "I think I'll get this little one here." she finally said to the one she was holding. Blaine looked at the four pokemon that Miu was going to choose. He decided to wobble on over with the large egg in his arms while also trying to hold up his pants, which he was quite skilled at. The Scraggy pulled on the girl's shirt before holding the egg up for her to see. "Hm? Blaine, where did you get that?" the girl asked as she let go of the floating ice cream pokemon. She picked up the egg looking it over, it was a big egg. Bigger than the ones she have. "Professor, Blaine seem to have found this egg... Is it yours?"~

As the trainer made her decision, the Scraggy that accompanied her was fumbling with the egg that the Professor miserably failed at hiding. It picked up the egg and waddled over to the trainer and pulled on her shirt. The trainer asked if it was his. What was he going to answer? He fumbled with his lab coat and stared at the ceiling for a few moments before averting his gaze to the girl.
<"It is mine. I don't know where it came from, but yes, it's mine. I think it'll suit you better.."> he said, sticking the egg in a capsule that was on the table, and shoved it into the starter pack.
The Professor handed the Trainer a poke ball for the Vanillite she was holding and gave the little-heavier starter pack.
<"Take good care of these two! You need to tell me what it hatches into!"> he exclaimed as the girl took the items. <"See you around!"> he concluded.
