Pokemon goes here. Nick had gotten his starter pack and his starter pokemon Solosis. He was very happy as he walked on away from Hajime's Lab. Nick saw a sign that said 'Route 1'. That was the first route on almost every trainer's journey, and it was going to be Nick's also. Nick walked ahead as he enjoyed the day he was having so far. The Route was mildly filled with trainers battling newbie pokemon and other wild pokemon either enjoying the day or just resting. Nick couldn't blame them as he walked on and wondered what the first thing that would happen to him was going to be. Nick was going to find out.

A small bark could be heard as the trainer walked the route, getting louder and louder as he neared the source. At that time the continuous barking quickly turned into a growl, then the nearby bushes began to rustle as the culprit leaps out in front boy, trying to stop him from going farther, a Lillipup.

It seems that Nick had stumbled into the pup's territory. The little terrier snarled at him, inching closer and closer trying to scare the human away. If this display didn't work, Nick should expect it to attack unless he attacked first of course.

Attacks: Psywave - Reflect HP: 100% Nick was pleasurably walking along Route 1 minding his own business until he heard a bark, as he kept walking the barking got louder. That was until the barking thing jumped out of the bushes. It was a Lillipup and looked to be trying to protect it's territory. What a cute little puppy pokemon it was. Nick had to try and keep himself from trying to annoy the puppy pokemon. It looked like the Lillipup didn't want Nick to keep on venturing, it seemed to be barking viciously wanting a battle from what Nick suspected. Nick quickly grabbed out one of his pokeballs from his bag. He then released Solosis from it's ball and looked happily at his new partner hoping it would co-operate for the battle against Lillipup. Nick looked over at the terrier and then said to Jelly his Solosis, "Jelly, Use Psywave to start off this battle." Nick had feelings for the Lillipup, but if they were going to battle each other then he wasn't giving the terrier any advantages, Nick wanted his first wild pokemon battle in the Erinuki to be successful as he felt a cool breeze rush across his face.

It seemed that the pup's display didn't work at all. He was sure that it would work, he did everything that had worked previously on the pokemon here. Maybe humans were different than pokemon, granted this was the first trainer he came across. Instead of going the opposite direction, the boy let out a floating green blob.

The Lillipup blinked in confusion as he never seen the pokemon before and became a bit wary, backing up but still in an defensive mode. It was when the Solosis shot out a multicolored ray at him, causing him to give a small whine as he felt the attack. Shaking his head the terrier gave a small growl as he narrowed his eyes as they glowed a bright red at the psychic pokemon lowering defenses.

Attacks: Psywave - Reflect HP: 100% -1 Def Jelly had used Psywave on the Lillipup, and it hit with force. That was a good sight to see, but after watching Lillipup use Growl, Nick then knew it was going to be a tougher battle then he thought. Nick had to play the battle tactically and forcefully. If he could combine both, he would have alot more chance to win the battle. The sun beamed down on the battlefield they were fighting on, it was a warm sunny spring day. Normally it couldn't get any better weather. But there was a cool breeze that was so soothing that Jelly was jumping up and down next to Nick. It was a beautiful day, and what could make it better was Jelly beating Lillipup. That's when Nick said to Jelly, "Jelly, Use Psywave again." Nick was going to try and weaken the little terrier before it could cause much damage to Jelly. Nick was only new to the whole wild pokemon battling, but it was definently intriguing for him to learn as he watched Jelly ready for a Psywave attack.

The pup decided to attack this time since he lowered the opponent's defense. Granted that the Solosis got a head start on him with the previous Psywave. The tiny terrier rushed forth as the blob charged up with another attack. As he got closer, the psychic fired out the energy beam. Anticipating the attack, the Lillipup dodged the beam by jumping sideways aiming at the blob with his Tackle, slamming his body into the Solosis sending it back. It would do more damage due to lower defenses.

The canine landed on his feet after, a smug look on his face. It seems that the terrier wasn't going down easy. He waited for the Solosis's next move to see what it got.

Attacks: Psywave - Reflect HP: 80% -1 Def 1 REF. It was a hard thing for any trainer to watch their pokemon miss an attack, it meant a wasted turn. But that was because of the cunning Lillipup, it was certainly willing to give Nick and Jelly a hard first wild pokemon battle. But so was Nick. He couldn't help but stand on the spot and enjoy the weather while thinking. Nick was thinking about a stratergy, if he were to use Psywave again it might miss and Jelly was likely to become weakened again by Lillipup's attack. That wasn't what he wanted. Jelly also had another move known as Reflect. It was a move that halved the power of the opponent's physical attack like Tackle. It was a handy move, and very strategical for this turn of the battle. Nick then said to Jelly, "Jelly, Use Reflect." Jelly obeyed the commands quickly as it started to ready for it's Reflect attack. It was going to try and create an invisible wall like barrier that would seemingly weaken the Lillipup's attack. But Nick knew Jelly had to stay on guard for whatever Lillipup was going to throw at it.

Lillipup noses wiggles as he gave a small suspicious sniff at the blob's next move. It seem to have done something, but the pup couldn't make out what. He saw it glow for abit, moving erratically as something had formed in front of it for a brief second before disappearing.

His eyes narrowed thinking it was some kind of trick. The terrier, after some careful thinking, decided to play it safe and use another Leer attack. The Solosis would feel it's Defenses being sapped once again.
