| POKÉMORPH BIO FORM |
FULL NAME | [/b]Novis Mikron Gammatek Mk.III
SPECIES | [/b]Magnemite
GENDER | [/b]None due to being a living magnet thing, although most often referred to as male (simply for ease of pronouns)
AGE | [/b]None due to being a living magnet thing
SEXUAL ORIENTATION | [/b]Asexual and irrelevant
APPEARANCE | [/b]Novis' head is typical of a Magnemite's body, including the screw on top and the two screws below the eye. His single eye is quite expressive, since aside from speaking and gesturing, it's his only method of communication. Since he has no mouth, his voice has no visible area of output, but it is audible; light and high, but heavily layered and processed. His arms are each made of a jointed steel bar with a metal plate attached to the end, with 4 bar magnets at the corners. His legs are each made of a jointed steel bar with a U-magnet attached to the end. His head is approximately 3 feet in diameter, each arm is just over 2 feet long, and his legs are nearly 3 feet long.
CLOTHING STYLE | [/b]None, since he's all metal and there's nothing to cover up
PERSONALITY | [/b]Novis is generally mercurial, and somewhat temperamental when provoked, but is otherwise quite calm. He vastly prefers logic over instinct, and is persistent and cannot be easily distracted. Usually feels no notable emotion toward others. As a result he's also slow to trust others, and feels that friendships are generally pointless. He realizes that he has no real reason for existing, and thus is somewhat cynical.
HISTORY | [/b]One day an unspecified length of time ago, in a far-off, desert region named Sasqui, a rogue scientist started his latest experiment: creating a sentient being from scrap metal and other repurposed bits of technology. He used the basic form of a Magnemite as a model, making whatever alterations he saw fit. Once the project was nearing its completion, the scientist was horrified what he had done, realizing he never should have built the being in the first place. He fled his lab, and hasn't been heard from since. His creation was left lying on the table in a heap of metal.
(Note that this was before the concept of a "robot" was ever feasible.)
Several decades later... | The region of Sasqui had since been abandoned and forgotten. A group of archaeologists from Erinuki heard of its existence, and decided to take a trip there to explore what remained of the ruins. Eventually, they discovered the eccentric scientist's lab. They were astounded by everything he had left behind.... They noticed the pile of metal on the table, and, digging through it, found a nearly-complete primitive android in the shape of a Magnemite. They decided to take it back to Erinuki with them, and soon after their arrival, a sudden power surge caused the robot to activate. They told it of how they found it, and, having a surprisingly-advanced AI, it decided to roam the region as a Trainer, seeking whatever answers it may find.
OTHER INFO | [/b]No, he's not *technically* a Pokemorph, but he's definitely an interesting character, and that's all that's important. Plus. if everything goes well, that scientist will eventually find his way onto here. Somehow.

<SPECIES-RELATED ABILITIES> Novis is able to hover approximately 4 feet above the ground for semi-short periods of time. He can glide inches above the ground as a substitute for running. He's also very sensitive to changes in the magnetic field, and is able to predict thunderstorms extremely well.
