Nightwalker approached the lab. It was just before dawn and he smelled the cramped town around him. He didn't like the feeling of being in such a cramped place and wanted to get out of it as soon as possible. But first he had to get his starter Pokemon.
Even though it was early in the morning he could see that there was a light on in the lab. Apparently the professor worked a lot. Nightwalker slipped up to the door and opened it silently. He slipped into the lab swiftly and silently because it was cold outside.
Once inside Nightwalker reached up and flipped off his hood revealing his moist and messy hair. He looked around for the professor or someone else that could help him.

The sound of the kid's feet gave the Professor a strange sensation that something was watching him. So the Professor got up out of his chair, cracked his back with a stretch, and started to walk over to the door. His eyes were still dreary from the morning, and before he got to the door to see who came in, he jumped and screamed when he saw the boy to the side. His Vanillite and Castform came zooming in, wide-eyed and scared of what just happened to their master. They both swooped in and gave the Professor a reassuring hug and glared at the kid that was just standing there.
<"Well.. hi there! You really gave me a scare! Maybe next time you could knock on the door or call out or something.."> he said, exasperated. <"But anyways, my name is Professor Kinkaze. I am the Professor for the Erinuki Region, as you may know by now. I assume you're here for your starter?"> he introduced himself, giving the usual shbeel. [/classy] Kinkaze |

Nightwalker jumped a bit when the Professor screamed. Then he took a step back putting his back flat against the door as the Vanillite and Castform sprinted into the room. Then he smiled and got a bit more comfortable trying to act happy to make the Pokemon calm down. <"I'm sorry. I guess I should probably get into that habit."> He slipped down to a knee hoping that would make the Pokemon understand he wasn't trying to threaten them or the Professor <"Yes i would. Do you think i could look at a Cyndaquil, a Chimchar, a Murkrow, and a Skorupi?"> ((Me can't think of anything else to say  )) |

He tapped on the screen, jamming his index finger down onto a specific button a few times to get the Poke Balls to pop out. As the Poke Balls rolled out, the professor grabbed them and threw them over to the boy and erupted into red light. The professor just continued walking back to the boy to see what Pokemon he would choose.[/classy] [classy=text-top2]Pokemon #1[/classy][classy=box-2][classy=box-3][style=text-align:center;][pokemon=Cyndaquil]black-white[/pokemon] [/classy][classy=box-3] The Cyndaquil stretched it's neck and back, it's flame erupting instantaneously on it's back. It gave a sigh of relief and joy when it saw the person in front of him. He walked over to the stalker looking guy and nuzzled the guy's leg with it's long snout.
Male Cyndaquil [/classy][/classy][/style] [classy=text-top2]Pokemon #2[/classy][classy=box-2][classy=box-3][style=text-align:center;][pokemon=Chimchar]black-white[/pokemon] [/classy][classy=box-3] As the previous Pokemon walked over and nuzzled the trainer, the Chimchar became jealous. She ran at the Cyndaquil and knocked into the trainer instead, hitting his shins. She wobbled back, her head spinning from the hit, and looked up at the trainer. She didn't really like the trainer much, but if the Cyndaquil was making good buddies with him, then she would have to be better friends with him.

The trainer didn't seem to nice, and the other two Pokemon have him bound anyways, and the professor is nice..

He squeaked a happy greeting to the trainer and offered his stinger to the trainer as a hand shake. Of course, he didn't mean any harm to the trainer from his barb, he just wanted to say hi. He was just that way.

Night's face lit up at the sight of the Pokemon. He leaned over to pet the Cyndaquil and laughed as the Chimchar ran into him. He reached out to her and let her climb up onto his shoulder. <"You guys are quite excited to get out of here aren't you? Don't tell me the professor was that harsh on you."> Night winked playfully at the professor knowing full well that the man probably didn't trust him. He reached out to carefully touch the Skorupi. He glanced a bit longingly at the Murkrow but the bird like pokemon seemed very disinterested. Night had hoped the Murkrow would like him but since thait didn't seem that that would happen he couldn't rist trying to train the pokemon. So he turned his attention back to the other three more than happy pokemon. <"I guess I have to chose one of you don't I? Well then...I'm sorry Skorupi but I think i should chose between Ms. Chimchar and Mr. Cyndaquil. I hope you do find a good trainor someday."> The Skorupi looked very depressed but Night had already turned his attention to the other two pokemon. He pet the Cyndaquil and smiled at the Chimchar sitting on his shoulder who was making herself look very cute and cuddly to impress him. <"Hmm...I really can't decide. Mr. Professor,"> he turned to face the man, <"Which of these fine pokemon would you chose?"> Night smiled at the professor wondering what he would say.

Night smiled, <"Well in that case i would have to chose the Murkrow. I mean I can see myself working with him but it doesn't look like he wants to work with me."> The murkrow turned towards him and night gave him a wink, <"You sure you don't want to go on an adventure with me Mr. Murkrow? Cause I can teach you some quite interesting things. Sorry you two."> He set down the two pokemon in his arms and walked over to the Murkrow.

But the professor's philosophy was usually correct, so this journey will be a good one for the both of those two.
<"Good choice! Here's his Poke Ball."> he said, fishing out the Poke Ball from his lab coat and handing it to the trainer. The Professor also vanished behind his desk, bending down to pick up a starter pack for the trainer. He stood back up and walked back over to the trainer, the small backpack with necessities in the professor's hand. <"You will probably want this also."> he remarked, handing over the pack to Night.
The professor just stood in awe for a second as the Murkrow hopped forward and looked up into the trainer's eyes.

Night absentmindedly took the pack and reached down to pet the Murkrow who, although reluctant, allowed the pet. Night looked up at the professor and nodded, <"Thanks Mr. Professor."> he said before turning and slipping back out of the lab just as the sun peaked over the tops of the buildings around him. The adventure had begun.
